3 strawberries (or a handful of blueberries or other soft fruit)

1 T Organic Flaxseed, ground

1 T Chia seeds

3 bananas, peeled

1 large mango, peeled and pitted

Add the liquid to your blender followed by the soft fruit. Add the greens last. Blend on high for 30 seconds or until creamy.

2 T cocoa powder

2 T peanut butter

8 oz. Greek yogurt

½ cup ice

1 banana

Cinnamon

Mix peanut butter, cocoa, yogurt and ice in blender at high speed. Slice banana and blend in. Pour into two glasses. Sprinkle cinnamon on top for extra zip.

This one satisfies chocolate cravings without the sugar. It also provides protein and fats for satiety. For extra nutrition, add protein powder to taste before blending.

1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (AIVIA™ Plant Protein vanilla or chocolate)

1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 navel orange

2 tablespoons cashew butter (or almond, peanut, tahini)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon turmeric

Combine ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth.

1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.

Place frozen fruit in the blender. Add yogurt, then banana, then protein powder, then flaxseed. Add almond milk last and blend. To thin this smoothie, add cold water or ice to preferred thickness.

Add this drink to your meal-prep list by making the tea and ice cubes ahead of time.

Elevate this drink by making Elderberry D3fense ice cubes. Simply add an extra batch or double batch of the hibiscus and Elderberry D3fense mixture (minus the seltzer) to an ice cube tray. Make it even better by adding fresh or frozen berries like blueberries.

Freeze the ice cubes for four hours or overnight. Store them in an airtight container for up to one month. You can pop these cubes into drinks or a teacup or mug for a hot drink.

Ingredients:

1 Nature’s Sunshine Elderberry D3fense pill, opened

2 hibiscus tea bags

1/2 cup boiling water

1 tsp. honey or agave

1/2 cup ice

seltzer to top

1 strawberry, sliced, garnish

1 edible flower, garnish

Instructions:

  1. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags in a mug or heatproof container. Steep for five to 10 minutes and remove the tea bags. Add the honey and the powder from the Elderberry D3fense capsule and stir vigorously or use a frother. Let the tea cool to room temperature.
  2. Add the ice and top the drink with the seltzer, a fresh strawberry slice, and an edible flower.

This is a delicious fizzy treat to enjoy on a warm day with or without a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Adding the Power Beets adds a sweet earthy flavor plus a boost of energy and can help improve circulation.

Don’t have blackberries? No problem; you can use fresh or frozen strawberries, blueberries, or pitted cherries. Add an extra squeeze of lemon for even more tartness.

INGREDIENTS
1 travel pack or scoop of Power Beets

2 bags ginger root tea

1/2 cup boiling water

1/3 cup blackberries

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

seltzer, to top

blackberries, garnish

vanilla ice cream scoop (optional)

ice, garnish

 INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Pour boiling water over the tea bags in a heatproof jar or mug, making sure to cover the tea bags. Let it steep for five minutes before removing the tea bags. Cool the brewed tea to room temperature or refrigerate the night before.
  2. Add the brewed tea, blackberries, lemon juice, and Power Beets to a blender and blend until combined (about 30 seconds). Strain out the blackberry seeds through a fine mesh strainer.
  3. Add the ice to a large glass. Pour the Power Beets berry mixture over the ice, top with seltzer, add a scoop of ice cream, and garnish with blackberri

Save this sweet and tart smoothie for your next breakfast. The cucumber and grapefruit give this smoothie a “juice” feel without the hassle of cleaning up a juicer.

Note: The frozen raspberries make this smoothie cold. If you are using fresh raspberries, add a few ice cubes to make it colder. Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer; for a thicker smoothie, use less milk.

Bonus: This recipe also makes delicious popsicles. Simply freeze the mixture in popsicle molds overnight. Omit the garnish if you opt for popsicles.

INGREDIENTS

1 stick or scoop Power Beets

1 cup plant-based milk

1/4 cup Greek-style yogurt, plus extra for garnish

1 Tbsp. chia seeds, plus extra for garnish

1 cup frozen raspberries *see note above if using fresh raspberries

1 inch slice fresh ginger or 1 tsp. ground ginger

1/4 cup cucumber, medium diced

1/4 deseeded grapefruit, peeled and medium diced

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Start on low for 15 seconds, and then blend on high for 30-60 seconds or until smooth.
  2. Pour into a glass and garnish with a drizzle of yogurt, you can thin out the yogurt with a splash of milk. Sprinkle chia seeds on top and serve with a straw.
